What you need to know
- It has a built-in hub, so one unit controls a single door. Ubiquiti's store page states it is not compatible with standalone Access Hubs.
- It is managed in the UniFi Access application, which needs a UniFi Console that supports Access. Ubiquiti describes Access as licence-free.
- It needs a PoE+ switch port (or a 44 to 57 V DC supply) and Cat 5e or better cabling. The door lock connects to its 12 V DC, 1 A relay output and is sold separately.
