SOLUTION · AV, NETWORK & CLOUD CONSULTANCY

Independent design, for projects too complex — or too political — to wing.

Vendor-neutral design and specification across AV, network, CCTV and cloud — for organisations scoping a complex or multi-stakeholder project, and for MSPs and IT resellers who need specialist AV design input without giving up the client relationship.

Where it’s used

Built for the room, not the showroom

Complex or multi-site projects

Where getting the design right before procurement matters more than usual — multiple stakeholders, multiple buildings, or a budget that doesn’t allow for a costly rethink.

Organisations running a tender or RFP

Independent technical specification you can put out to competitive tender, rather than a single supplier’s sales proposal dressed up as a spec.

MSPs & IT resellers

Specialist AV design input brought in under your own client relationship — you stay the primary contact, we do the technical design work behind the scenes.

How we deliver it

Design, supply, install, support — one team throughout

01

Site survey and requirements gathering, technology recommendation and budget options.

02

Procured through our manufacturer and distributor relationships, or your framework of choice.

03

Install & commission

Delivered by our engineers in Scotland, or a vetted local partner, anywhere in the UK — every system tested and calibrated before we call it done.

04

Handover, training & support

Formal handover and documentation, hands-on training for your team, and optional ongoing care plans.

Proof it works

Discovery before design, on a national assessment environment

CASE STUDY · EMERGENCY SERVICES

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service: Commanding the Room

Before specifying a single piece of equipment for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service’s national Incident Command Centre, EIS ran a structured discovery process across multiple sessions with Training, ICT and operational stakeholders — mapping audio quality, camera coverage, recording workflows, governance and auditability.

Read the case study

That process, not a product list, is what produced a system designed around the assessment workflow rather than around the equipment it replaced — and a hardware-based architecture that avoided the third-party dependency that had constrained the legacy system.

Questions we’re asked most

Answered plainly

Do we have to use you for installation if you do the design?

No — a design and specification engagement stands alone. Plenty of clients take our design pack to competitive tender, or hand it to their own delivery team. If you’d like us to deliver it too, we’re happy to quote separately.

We’re an MSP/IT reseller — can you work under our brand with our client?

Yes — this is a genuine, growing part of what we do. We can work white-label under your relationship, or as a named specialist partner if you’d rather the client knew a specialist was involved. Either way, you stay the primary contact.

What’s actually in a design pack?

Depends on scope, but typically: a technical specification suitable for procurement, equipment schedules, network/cabling diagrams where relevant, and a budget-range cost estimate — enough for a contractor or your own team to install correctly, or for a fair competitive tender.

Can you audit an installation another company already did?

Yes — a commissioning/validation audit checks whether an install meets its original specification and industry standards, useful before sign-off or if something’s not performing as promised.
