Yes. Both are available. Some clients want the migration handled and then take management back in house; others prefer ongoing cloud management on a monthly basis, covering licensing, security configuration and day to day administration rather than hiring for it internally.
Backup and retention policy is agreed as part of the migration, typically using the cloud platform’s own backup tooling alongside a defined retention period, so data loss protection is built into the migration rather than assumed to already exist once files move off premise.
