Dundee and Tayside cover a mix of education (Dundee and Abertay universities are both in our Universities & Colleges sector), local authority work, and hospitality, and it’s also where one of our most substantial healthcare projects has been delivered. Working through Insight, we’ve installed ward eWhiteboards across NHS Tayside’s hospital estate, including Ninewells Hospital, Perth Royal Infirmary, Royal Victoria Hospital and Arbroath Infirmary, five sites and counting, all scheduled around live clinical activity.

That project is a good example of what “covered directly by our own engineers” means in practice: new installs and swap-outs delivered to the same standard, whatever the ward or the screen size.

More about our Dundee coverage

Do you take on general AV and network projects in Dundee, not just healthcare?

Yes. Beyond the NHS Tayside work, most Dundee projects draw on our wider network and IT capability as well as AV. Structured cabling, WiFi installation and ongoing support and maintenance are commonly specified alongside a signage or meeting room fit out, so a single project covers both the AV equipment and the network it depends on, without needing a second supplier brought in partway through. Dundee’s waterfront regeneration and its life sciences and games development sector also bring a steady flow of digital signage and reception AV enquiries, on top of the education and healthcare work already covered above. Whatever the brief, the same Glasgow based team designs it, and the same engineers who cover the rest of Tayside deliver and support it afterwards.
