Public sector and private sector procurement work differently. Each sector page below reflects how that sector actually buys, what it needs to comply with, and which of our solutions matter most.

Read more →Almost certainly — these 13 pages cover the sectors we see most often, but the underlying solutions (video walls, digital signage, meeting room AV, network and IT infrastructure) apply just as well outside them. Get in touch with what you’re trying to fix.
Yes — public sector work typically runs through a framework (Scotland Excel, Computacenter, Insight or CDW) with purchase order terms, while private sector clients usually go straight to a quote; see Partners & Frameworks for the public sector routes.
Mostly how it’s bought. The underlying solutions, video walls, digital signage, meeting room AV, network and IT infrastructure, are largely the same set of products across every sector on this page. What changes from one sector to the next is the compliance requirements a project has to meet and the procurement route it has to go through, which is exactly why each sector has its own page rather than one page trying to cover every audience at once.
That’s common, a university running a retail outlet on campus, or a council building that also operates as a public venue, for example. Read whichever page is the closest match as a starting point, then get in touch with the specifics, the brief usually ends up drawing on more than one sector page anyway once we understand the full scope of the building and how it’s used.
Not automatically. Scotland Excel, for instance, is open to Scottish public bodies rather than every organisation, while Computacenter, Insight and CDW cover UK wide purchasing routes. Which one applies depends on the organisation buying, not on us, so if you’re not sure which route you’re eligible for, that’s worth raising early with your own procurement team as well as with us.
Tell us the problem, not the product — we’ll point you the right way.
