At what RIBA stage should AV be brought into the design?
Ideally by Stage 2, alongside the rest of the design team, that’s early enough to influence room sizing, containment and power/data routes before they’re locked down, rather than retrofitting AV requirements into a finished M&E design.
Can you provide BIM-compatible drawings?
Yes, AV layouts, containment and equipment schedules can be produced to coordinate with a shared BIM model where the project’s running on one.
Do you work directly with the client, or through the architect?
Either: we’re used to being introduced by the architect and reporting into the wider design team, or working directly with the end client while keeping the architect fully coordinated.
