Barco’s Nio Color 5.8MP (MDNC-6121) is DICOM Part 14 calibrated and FDA-cleared for general radiology, digital mammography and breast tomosynthesis — the mammography-grade tier of Barco’s clinical display range, rather than the lower-resolution 2–3MP models which cover general radiology only. Specified for PACS review workstations and radiology reading rooms; for high-volume reading rooms needing more screen real estate, Barco’s 12MP Nio Fusion is the step-up worth scoping instead.
