One of the UK’s largest field marketing agencies — with hundreds of brand ambassadors deployed nationwide, representing some of the world’s biggest brands — needed a single partner to manage every device those field teams rely on, end to end, without the coverage gaps that come from stitching together several suppliers.
A field-based team of this scale means constant change — joiners, movers and leavers every week, devices in the hands of staff who are rarely in one place long enough for a desk-side fix, and a mix of Windows, iOS and Android hardware that all needs to be provisioned, supported and eventually retired to the same standard. Without one partner owning the whole lifecycle, that kind of fleet fragments fast: different suppliers for procurement, support and disposal, no single view of what’s where, and brand ambassadors losing selling time to device problems nobody owns end to end.
New devices sourced, imaged and configured to a standard build before they reach a single brand ambassador — laptops, tablets, phones, SIMs, chargers and cases.
Joiners, movers and leavers handled as routine, not as separate projects — devices reassigned, re-staged and redeployed on the same rolling process.
Retired hardware collected, data-wiped to a certified standard and compliantly recycled, with live stock levels tracked so replacement kit is never a scramble.
Windows, iOS and Android support for a workforce that’s rarely deskbound — issues resolved remotely wherever possible, with a clear escalation path when they can’t be.
Onboarding and offboarding handled through platforms including ManageEngine and Jamf, so access and app configuration follow the person, not the device.
Every request tracked against agreed priority levels and response targets — a measured service the client can hold us to, not a best-effort one.
Field-based teams don’t sit in one office, so the support model can’t either. We run this through our own dedicated staging and support facility, with direct relationships across the major UK logistics carriers — DPD, Royal Mail, Parcel Force and UPS — and with the largest hardware distributors, so replacement and refresh devices reach staff quickly wherever in the UK they’re working. Every device still runs through the same staging process and the same helpdesk, so a brand ambassador in Cornwall gets the identical standard of kit and support as one in Aberdeen.
Procurement, staging, support and disposal sit under one contract and one team — no gaps between suppliers for anything to fall into.
Every device is staged, supported and eventually retired to the same process, regardless of where in the UK it’s deployed.
ITIL-aligned KPIs mean the client can see — not just be told — that response and resolution targets are being met.
Yes — the same lifecycle approach scales down as well as up. The principle is the same whether it’s a dozen field staff or several hundred: one process, one point of accountability.
Yes — we regularly bring existing fleets under this model without needing to replace hardware that’s still fit for purpose; devices are simply re-staged and brought into the same support and lifecycle process.
